Each<br \/>\norganization has its own characteristics in defining and positioning hadith as the second of Islamic authority after<br \/>\nQur\u2019an, such as the Majlis Tafsir Al-Qur\u2019an (MTA). The problem begun since there is a research mentioning that<br \/>\nMTA is almost considered not positioning hadith as explanatory of Qur\u2019an. It is dealing with the MTA jargon its<br \/>\nself, returning to the Qur\u2019an and sunnah shahihah. This article discusses about how MTA, which is currently led<br \/>\nby Ahmad Sukino, positions the hadith as the second of Islamic authority after Qur\u2019an. In addition, MTA states that only sunah shahihah can be used as dalil or hujjah. MTA also distinguishes human cultural behaviors with pure religious behaviors as they are generally called \u2018ibadah. Thus, for MTA, no \u2018ibadah except there is nash sharih, both from the Qur\u2019an and sunnah. Then, when we read more deeply and critically, MTA is actually inconsistent in understanding and practicing Islam textually, but sometimes they use the fikih and usul fikih as a means to analyse the Qur\u2019an and hadith.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keywords<\/strong>: MTA, Textualist, Hadith, Islamic Authority<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>ABSTRAK<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Perkembangan sosial masyarakat Islam Indonesia terkait dengan kajian hadis tampak sangat dinamis. Setiap<br \/>\norganisasi kemasyarakatan (ormas) memiliki karakteristik berbeda dalam memaknai dan memosisikan salah satu<br \/>\nsumber ajaran Islam tersebut. Salah satunya adalah Majlis Tafsir Al-Qur\u2019an (MTA). Problem akademik yang muncul adalah terdapat riset yang menyebut bahwa MTA hampir tidak mendudukkan Hadis sebagai salah satu dalil syar\u2019iy sebagai penjelas Al-Qur\u2019an. Tesis ini berhadapan dengan jargon MTA sendiri, yaitu kembali ke ajaran Al-Qur\u2019an dan sunah yang sahih. Artikel ini mendiskusikan bagaimana MTA\u2014saat ini dipimpin oleh Ahmad Sukino\u2014 menempatkan posisi hadis (yang benar-benar sahih) sebagai sumber ajaran Islam setelah Al-Qur\u2019an. Namun, MTA menyebut hanya sunah yang kualitasnya sahih saja yang dapat dijadikan dalil. Selain itu, MTA juga membedakan perilaku-perilaku kemanusiaan yang terkait dengan seni dan budaya dengan perilaku keagamaan murni yang umumnya disebut dengan \u2018ibadah. Maka, bagi MTA, tidak ada ibadah kecuali ada dasarnya berupa nash sharih, baik dari Al-Qur\u2019an maupun sunah.
