Abstrack<\/strong><\/p>\n

This paper seeks to explore the expression of ikhtil\u0101f ummat\u012b ra\u1e25mah in terms of originality and authenticity. This phrase has been widely circulated among the community as part of the hadith. When there is a difference of opinion in understanding the religious text (al-nu\u1e63\u016b\u1e63 ald\u012bn\u012byah), especially the Qur’an and hadith, the expression ikhtil\u0101f ummat\u012b ra\u1e25mah is a powerful “weapon” to make the atmosphere conducive. But the problem is whether the phrase is the hadith of the Prophet? What is the quality of the sanad of the expression if it is a hadith? If it’s not a hadith, why did the hadith scholars emerge? This paper will answer the question by doing a critical analysis of the expression. Dissent is a phenomenon that has occurred since the Prophet was alive. The difference is influenced by many factors, such as social, cultural, economic, political, reading and intellectual someone. Actually, if examined in depth, ikhtil\u0101f ummat\u012b ra\u1e25mah is not a hadith because it does not have a clear sanad. There are many Sanad supporters with various matan editors, but all are considered weak by the scholars of hadith critics. This expressions fall into the category of “problematic traditions”. Therefore, one should be careful in attributing an expression to the Prophet.<\/p>\n

Abstrak<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tulisan ini berusaha mengeksplorasi ungkapan ikhtil\u0101f ummat\u012b ra\u1e25mah dari segi originalitas dan otentisitasnya. Ungkapan tersebut sudah beredar luas di tengah-tengah masyarakat sebagai bagian dari hadis. Ketika terjadi perbedaan pendapat dalam memahami teks-teks keagamaan (al-nu\u1e63\u016b\u1e63 ald\u012bn\u012byah) terutama al-Qur\u201fan dan hadis ungkapan ikhtil\u0101f ummat\u012b ra\u1e25mah merupakan \u201csenjata\u201d yang ampuh untuk membuat suasana menjadi kondusif. Tetapi masalahnya adalah apakah benar ungkapan tersebut hadis Nabi? Bagaimana kualitas sanad ungkapan tersebut jika memang hadis? Kalau bukan hadis, mengapa dimunculkan oleh ulama hadis? Tulisan ini akan menjawab pertanyaan dengan melakukan analisis-kritis terhadap ungkapan tersebut. Perbedaan pendapat merupakan fenomena yang telah terjadi sejak Nabi masih hidup. Perbedaan itu dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, seperti sosial, budaya, ekonomi, politik, bacaan dan intelektualitas seseorang. Sebenarnya jika diteliti secara mendalam, ikhtil\u0101f ummat\u012b ra\u1e25mah bukan hadis karena tidak memiliki sanad yang jelas. Sanad pendukung memang banyak dengan redaksi matan yang beragam, tetapi semua dinilai lemah oleh ulama kritikus hadis. Ungkapan tersebut masuk dalam kategori \u201chadis-hadis bermasalah\u201d. Karena itu seharusnya seseorang harus berhati-hati dalam menisbatkan sebuah ungkapan kepada Nabi.<\/p>\n
