Maka jadikanlah itu sebagai ucapan terakhir yang engkau ucapkan.&#8221;Maka aku (Al-Bara\u2019) berkata: &#8220;Aku ingin menghafalnya (mengulanginya): &#8216;&#8230; dan (aku beriman) kepada Rasul-Mu yang Engkau utus (wa biras\u00fblika alladz\u00ee arsalt)&#8217;.&#8221;Beliau bersabda: &#8220;Tidak! Tetapi ucapkanlah: &#8216;&#8230; dan kepada Nabimu yang Engkau utus (wa binabiyyika alladz\u00ee\u00a0arsalt).&#8217; (HR. al-Bukhari: 6311)<\/p>\n<p>Hadis ini menjelaskan adab sebelum tidur, yaitu dengan berwudu sebagaimana wudu untuk salat, lalu tidur di sisi kanan dan membaca doa yang diajarkan Nabi. Doa ini menunjukkan bentuk tawakkal sepenuhnya kepada Allah, keimanan kepada kitab-Nya dan Nabi-Nya, serta harapan agar meninggal dalam keadaan fitrah jika ajal datang saat tidur.
